Translational Challenges
We focus on some of the most under-served health conditions – motor neuron disease, chronic respiratory infections, global health, rare disease and childhood cancer.
Each Translational Challenge targets a specific area or disease with life science research that’s ripe for translation, and currently immature pipelines to get these discoveries to patients.
We bring our science, advice and funding to these challenges, and also work closely with partners to tap into their expertise and capabilities.
Our Translational Challenges
Motor Neuron Disease
Our vision is a world where motor neuron disease is preventable and treatable.
Chronic Respiratory Infection
Our vision is improved quality of life for those living with cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis.
Global Health
Improving solutions for treating and preventing infectious diseases through 3 Translational Challenges: Antimicrobial Resistance, Neglected Tropical Diseases and Emerging Viral Threats.
Rare Disease
Our vision is an ecosystem working together to get discoveries and treatments to rare disease patients faster.
Childhood Cancer
Our vision is to drive life-changing innovations for children with cancer through collaborating with partners to tackle the unique challenges of research in this space.
