Focus areas

We focus on work where our translational knowledge can help people living with rare conditions and tackle some of the major infection-related threats facing human health.

Each focus area targets a specific disease or field where research has great potential to deliver impact but lacks the translational infrastructure needed to bring discoveries to patients.

We bring our science, expertise and funding to these challenges, working with charities and people affected by these conditions to help guide us. We also work closely with partners to tap into their expertise and capabilities.

Our focus areas
