Dr Elin Haf Davies began her career as a paediatric nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital, before moving into research and spending 6 years managing clinical and academic drug trials. She then completed a PhD at UCL which focused on the development of age-appropriate and disease-specific biomarkers of gait.
In 2007, Elin Haf moved to work at the European Medicine Agency where, amongst other projects, she evaluated over 100 Paediatric Investigation Plans, working closely with Scientific Advice and the Orphan team. In 2015, she founded Aparito, a med-tech company developing patient-centric digital outcomes in clinical trials. Aparito was acquired by Eli Lilly and Company in 2024.
