Jon is head of LifeArc’s Chemical Biology group, which leads, delivers and supports our small molecule discovery work. He has more than 20 years research experience as a medicinal chemist, and has worked in, led and managed multidisciplinary project teams in therapeutic areas including oncology, infectious disease, neuroscience and pain.
Jon manages a 16 strong team of scientists based at our Stevenage site, which is dedicated to the design and delivery of high-quality small molecules to drive forward LifeArc’s project portfolio.
He holds a PhD from the University of York, and undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Bristol and at the Institute of Cancer Research before joining LifeArc.
