Dr Paul Wright heads the team focused on Motor Neurone Disease (MND) within LifeArc’s Translational Challenges pillar.
Paul is responsible for bringing new thinking and passion to solve significant healthcare problems. As ambassador and advocate his role is to maximise the potential of LifeArc to address patient needs. He is also responsible for driving collaboration with funders from the charitable, government, public and private sectors, supporting our ambitions to leverage third party funding to amplify impact.
Before joining the Translational Challenges team, Paul led a group of scientists working on our ongoing neuroscience programmes, carrying target validation studies and screening, as well as on several of our pain programmes.
