Terms and Conditions for the LifeArc British Science Week Giveaway

  1. Promoter: This giveaway is organised by LifeArc, hereafter referred to as “the Promoter.”
  2. Eligibility: The giveaway is open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  3. Entry Requirements: To enter, participants must comment on the designated giveaway posts on LinkedIn and X. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple comments will not increase chances of winning.
  4. Giveaway Period: The competition opens upon the post being published and closes at 12:00 pm (GMT) on Monday 17 March 2025. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.
  5. Selection of Winners: Six winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries. 1 winner will be selected from the comment section of the post featuring the wooden translational pipeline arch block puzzle and five winners in total will be selected from the comment sections of the posts featuring the model made of LEGO ® bricks. The selection process will be conducted fairly and transparently.
  6. Notification of Winners: The winners will be notified via direct message (DM) on the social media platform used for entry. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner may be selected.
  7. Prizes: The prize will depend on the post/s commented on. Prizes will be shown in a video on the post. Prizes available to be won are five antibody models made of LEGO ® bricks, five pairs of antibody novelty socks and one wooden translational pipeline arch block puzzle. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
  8. Publicity: By entering the giveaway, participants agree that their username may be announced on the Promoter’s social media channels if they are selected as a winner.
  9. Data Protection: Any personal data provided will be used solely for the administration of this giveaway and in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
  10. General: The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw this giveaway at any time without prior notice. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, LEGO ® or the social media platform used.
