Philanthropic Fund and Seed Fund

We are committing £30m of funding to progress promising medical research.

Two new funds will invest in proof of concept opportunities or where commercial returns may be low.

The Philanthropic Fund provides grants for academic research funded by other medical research charities and organisations.

The Seed Fund invests in promising early stage therapeutics and biological research.

The funds will be launched at the beginning of 2018 and further details on the application process will be disclosed nearer the time.
