A bit about the role:

As a member of the finance team this role supports the senior finance business partners in: 

  • Working closely with operating and enabling functions of LifeArc to ensure a collaborative approach to business partnering, to deliver transparent information 
  • Ensuring that high quality, transparent data is generated and analysed for use in the production and interpretation of management information 
  • Management and development of the systems used in the production of management information 
  • Providing analysis and interpretation of project and cost centre spend and forecasts, particularly around translational science functions 
  • Support project leaders by enabling them to understand and own their project finances 
  • Supporting the budgeting and reforecasting processes 
  • Maintain and develop the reporting environment through management of development of systems 
  • Ensure finance, project and forecasting systems are aligned and reconciled 

 

About you:

Education & experience: 

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / equivalent by experience) 
  • Experience of working with financial planning software and data visualisation systems (e.g. Adaptive / Power BI) 

Skills & abilities: 

  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
